Is Spriggy a bank?

No, Spriggy isn’t a bank. Spriggy is a small business on a big mission - helping Aussie families raise money-smart kids by making learning about money fun. The Parent Wallet and Prepaid Card are issued by Indue Ltd, which is an authorised deposit-taking Institution for the purposes of the Banking Act 1959.

Is Spriggy a debit or credit card? 

The Spriggy card is a prepaid Visa card, NOT a credit card or a debit card. Kids can only spend what’s on their prepaid card (money that parents have paid as pocket money, money transferred from savings or savings goals or money that parents have transferred via their Parent Wallet).

Where can my kids use their Spriggy cards? 

Your kids can safely use their Spriggy cards online and in-store. Their Spriggy cards will work anywhere that Visa is accepted. We’ve also got merchant restrictions to ensure that your kids can’t use their Spriggy cards at alcohol and cigarette shops, etc.

Is Spriggy safe?

It’s our top priority to keep your family and money safe. We use encryption to keep your money and personal details safe, and we never sell your information to third parties. Your Parent App gives you complete visibility into how your kids are managing their money. Plus, merchant restrictions ensure your kids can’t spend at alcohol or cigarette shops, etc.
